Give ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other AI assistants a clear summary of your business and your key pages. We draft it from your sitemap, and you edit and download it.
We read your homepage, menu and XML sitemap. Nothing else is stored.
Edit the summary and page titles right in the box until they read naturally.
Download llms.txt and upload it so it opens at yoursite.com/llms.txt.
Upload llms.txt to your site's root folder (usually public_html) with your host's File Manager or FTP, next to wp-config.php. Some SEO plugins, including Yoast SEO, can also create one for you.
Put llms.txt in the folder served at your root: public/ for Next.js, Astro and Vite, or static/ for Hugo and SvelteKit. Then redeploy.
These builders don't let you upload files to the site root. Check your platform's SEO settings for an llms.txt option, or ask its support whether it's available on your plan.
A plain markdown file at the root of your site (yoursite.com/llms.txt) that gives AI assistants a short summary of who you are and links to your most important pages. It was proposed at llmstxt.org in 2024, and it works like a table of contents written for language models.
No, and nobody should promise that. Google hasn't said it uses llms.txt for Search or AI Overviews. It's a low-effort way to make your site easier for AI tools to read correctly, so think of it as preparation rather than a ranking factor.
robots.txt tells crawlers what they may access, and sitemap.xml lists every URL for search engines. llms.txt is a curated, human-readable summary: a description of your business and a hand-picked list of the pages that matter most.
Pages an AI can skip if it's short on space, like blog posts and news. The llms.txt proposal gives a section named “Optional” exactly that meaning.
To stay fast and free, we only read your homepage in full. Menu links use their real text, while the other pages are named from their URL. Tidy up any that read awkwardly before you upload.
An llms.txt file doesn’t help if your robots.txt blocks the AI crawlers that would read it.
